Jiu-Jitsu Gear to Buy

In being a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, there is no shortage of stuff to buy that can help supplement your game.  This page is dedicated to items that I buy and use regularly that I would recommend to anyone.  I do get paid by Amazon Affiliates if you buy through my website, so just clicking the link to purchase helps support the site!

You will also find these recommendations throughout some of my other articles too.  Head to my Home Page to read about everything Jiu-Jitsu!

If there are any items that I missed, let me know in the comment section below!

Gi’s

As of now, I only own two Gi’s.  I am 6’4 and 185lbs so of the few I’ve tried, the Fuji brand and their A3L size has been the best for me.  It’s comfortable, durable, and fitted enough that I don’t look like a clown going onto the mats.  I do prefer Black Gi’s but any would work.  Regardless of your size though, I can confidently recommend Fuji as a great Gi brand.

Rash Guards + Shorts

Everyone has their own preferences here, but I will say that I own quite a few rash guards and can give some good thoughts on all of them.  I have categorized them by brand and location of purchase below.

Sanabul

Maybe the most accessible and best starter rash guard there is.  They hold up well and are solid value for money. I would say it’s hard to go wrong with these, especially starting out.

LAFROI

LAFROI is both high quality and far more interestingly designed.  My LAFROI rash guards have held up incredibly well and have gotten me more compliments than any other than I own.  Click the picture below to see all the different designs they have!

Future Kimonos

Now, I don’t get any payment nor do I have any affiliation with Future Kimonos, but I have a couple of different rash guards and shorts and feel they should be recommended regardless.  They are incredibly high quality and have a tremendous number of designs to choose from.  Because of this though, they are on the pricier side but are well worth it.

If you are trying to save a few bucks, sign up for their newsletter as they do run promotions!  Link to Future Kimonos website here!

Other Accessories

This includes everything else that I use to help me out before, during, or after my Jiu-Jitsu practice.  All of these I do use and recommend.
